The Person-centred care of Older People with cognitive impairment in Acute Care Scale (POPAC)

This is a psychometric tool to measure the properties of person-centered care in acute care treatment of older adults with cognitive impairment from the perspective of the nursing staff. The aim is to increase the ability to meet needs with an assessment scale. There are 15 items with a 0-5 likert scale that targets three reliable subscales: ‘using cognitive assessments and care interventions’(0.74), ‘using evidence and cognitive expertise’(0.79) and ‘individualizing care’ (0.78). Total Cronbach's alpha of 0.87.
