Normal mode analysis of hydration effects on protein terahertz dielectric response

If the hydration is lower than a critical hydration level the THz dielectric response increase slowly. And it increases sharply if the hydration is higher than that hydration level. This phenomenon is called hydration transition. In this experiment, we use CHARMM to simulate this phenomenon. Then we compare the data we get from CHARMM with the real experimental data and try to explain the difference between them.
