In this paper I have shown how logic as an innate aspect of human cognition allows us as to obtain truths regarding reality. I have come to this conclusion via my study of human cognitive development, logic and by observing how college, high school and elementary students express their understanding of the subject matters that they are learning. It was through my study of Immanuel Kant's Critique to Pure Reason that I was exposed to how logic play's a major role in the development of all sciences. In this paper I have laid out a general outline of how Kant connected intuition to logic. After I have presented to the reader how intuition is connected to logic I will conclude that logic is one of the main aspects of human cognition that allows us to obtain truths about reality.
