Single Crystal X-ray Crystallography: A Reliable Tool for Accurate Structural Study of Complex Molecular Solids
Sokolow, Jesse D.
MetadataShow full item record
X-ray diffraction is used in studies of polyoxotitanate nanoparticles with and without sensitizers. Results are used as input to theoretical calculations of band structure and relative stability of different binding modes. Secondly, thioesters have been synthesized as model compounds for the trigger of photoactive yellow protein. The compound will be used in time-resolved studies of trans-cis isomerization reaction mechanism.
