From September to October 2014, the author investigated professors' perceptions of college students with attention deficit hyper activity disorder (ADHD). There were 168 participants who completed the ADHD Beliefs Rating Scale- Revised survey. This 40 question electronic survey measured knowledge, attitudes and beliefs of ADHD. Independent sample t-test and ANOVA analyses measured false and reasonable beliefs related to ADHD. The results indicated that professors did differ significantly in perceptions regarding general knowledge, attitudes and beliefs about ADHD and college students with ADHD.
