Bulk molybdenum disulfide electron mobility measurement
Newly discovered two-dimensional materials, such as graphene and molybdenum disulfide (MoS 2 ), are very attractive in terms of their unique properties. However, not many reported studies have addressed the properties of thin MoS 2 flakes that are a few tens of nanometers thick. Here, I investigate the electrical properties of this material. My findings indicate that MoS 2 flakes with nanoscale thickness exhibit the same electrical properties as bulk MoS 2 . Based on these findings, I can conclude that simply having a characteristic length on the nanoscale is not necessarily sufficient for unique electrical properties to emerge.
