Spectrum Evaluation Device and Applications

This thesis will present innovative methods to obtain colors from traditional CMOS and thin film fabrication. From modeling to fabrication to final characterization, the performance of these devices has been evaluated, and proven to provide stable and accurate output for color detection. Several applications based on these have been illustrated, which shows superior results while consuming low power and having simple structure. Furthermore, some applications of consumer electronics using color detection method based on thin films and CMOS have been investigated and more possibilities have been proposed for future research.
