dc.description.abstractThis annotated bibliography updated as of 12/21/2016 lists studies and review articles that examine whether open access (OA) articles receive more citations than equivalent subscription; i.e., toll access (TA) articles. There are 16 new 2015-2016 integrated into the three alphabetical by article title sections of the bibliography: A) General review articles; B) Studies showing an open access citation advantage (OACA); C) Studies showing minimal to negative OACA effect or ascribing OACA to factors unrelated to OA publication.
